コルディリネ 挿し木 その後 Cordyline, a sequel

6月に水挿しの様子を書いた。7月下旬に元の木がある鉢に植えてみた。それから一月近くが経った。まあまあうまくいっているようだ。

In June, I wrote about Cordyline propagation.  I planted them in late July in a pot that original plats were planted.  Almost one month has past, and it looks like to be OK.

一番奥の株は，挿した枝からは葉が出ていないが，根元から新芽が出てきて育っている。暫く様子を見て，枯れ木は根元で切るかな。

The branch in the back does not have any leaves from the branch, but new branch is growing from the soil.  Monitoring for a while, I am thinking to cut the branch at the base.

真ん中辺りの枝は先端から出た芽がジワジワ育っている。
The branch in the middle got leaves from the top, and slowly growing.

同じ枝のの根元からも芽が出ている。
The same branch has also a new branch from the root.

ちょっとゴチャゴチャだが，まあまあ元気。少々日焼け痛みしているので，日陰に移動した。
This is a little crowded, but looks OK.  They little damaged by sunburn, I moved the pot to shaded area.

手前の水挿しの枝を取った元の枝は何も芽が出ていない。以前から根元の新梢が出ていたので，この枯れ枝も様子を見てカットかな。
The branch in the front is the original that I cut, and does not have any new leaves growing.  It had had a new branch from the root, and I may have to prune the bald branch.

今のところだが，今年の水挿しは大成功でした。
So far, the propagation this year turned out to be very successful.  ;-)
