開花 Blooming

6月は旅行で暫く留守にしていた。植物たちはそんなことおかまいなしに元気である。多肉やサボテンは花をつけている。
I was away for a while in June while I was traveling. Regardless of my absence, the plants are fine as usual. My succulent and cacti are blooming.

これは今シーズン2回目の花を準備している。
This is preparing the second flower in this season.

この花は見落とした。気がついた時には終わっていたのだ。
I failed to see this flower. When I noticed it was over.

サボテンアレンジ Cactus arrangement

2014.2.1 

２月にしてはとんでもなく温かい日になった。暫くの間温めていたアレンジを作ることにした。この珪化木がうまく割れるかが一つの課題だったが，叩いたり，ひねったりしたらうまく割れた。

For February, it was really unusually warm.  I decided to make an arrangement that I had been considering about half a month.

One of the issues was whether I can crack this rock easily, but by hitting and twisting the rock successfully created some proper size of rocks.

植えるサボテンはこの銀手毬２鉢。

A cactus used was this Mammillaria vetula_ssp_gracilis that I had two pots. 

鉢から抜く時に，子供がポロポロ取れてしまう。まあ想定内のことだ。後で挿してみよう。

As I pulled off the cactus from the pot, some babies dropped off.  Well, that had been expected.  I planted them later in another pot.

出来上がりはこれだ。

Voila,  after an hour, this is the outcome.

昨日の三貴フラワー参りの成果
Visit to Miki-flower resulted in these.
銀手毬は刺が痛くないのと，花が沢山咲きかけていたので買ってしまった。
Since I found Mammillaria vetula ssp.gracilis not stinging and having several flowers blooming, put it into a shopping basket.

翠冠玉は特に理由なく購入。
And, Lophophora diffusa, I bought with no particular reason.
