昨日の三貴フラワー参りの成果
Visit to Miki-flower resulted in these.
銀手毬は刺が痛くないのと，花が沢山咲きかけていたので買ってしまった。
Since I found Mammillaria vetula ssp.gracilis not stinging and having several flowers blooming, put it into a shopping basket.

翠冠玉は特に理由なく購入。
And, Lophophora diffusa, I bought with no particular reason.

冬の多肉 Succulents in winter

冬でもそれなりに楽しめるのが多肉のいいところだが，今シーズンはチョット集めすぎたかも。 ^^;  一つの部屋は飾る場所のない鉢で一杯。

It is one of good points of succulents that we can enjoy in winter.  But, I am afraid I collected too many, this season.  ;-)

One of our room is full of pots that I cannot find a place to display for.

夏にいじけてしまったサンバースから新芽が出てきているが，まだかなり寂しい。

Sun burst cowered in summer heat started new leaves, but still very poor.

食卓にも幾つか飾っている。

On the dining table there are some.

セネキオは元気に新芽を出してきた。これで夏型?
 A pup of senecio merrily came out.  Is this really summer growing type?

ルビーネックレスは成長良好。

Ruby necklace is growing fast.

クリプト全盛 Cryptocoryne flourishing

夏には高温で調子が落ちる水草だが，秋から冬，春にかけて元気になる。ここ数年の傾向はクリプトコリネ達の繁茂だ。ジャングル状態。

以前の植えても植えても溶けてしまった事が嘘のよう。何が変わったのかよく判らない。藍藻除けにオキシフルを入れているせいか，水の出口形状を変えたぐらいだがなぁ。

In the summer, my aquarium plants go down because the water temp goes up.  They become healthier during autumn, winter and spring.  The trend in these several years is that Cryptocorynes surprisingly flourish.  It is like a jungle.

光を求めているのか水槽の縁ギリギリに迫って生えてくる。地下茎らしく，とんでもない所から新芽が出てくる。こういう性質とは知らなかった。
Probably they are seeking light.  They close in to the edge of the tank.  They grow rhizome, I guess, new shoots come out from unimaginable locations.  I did not know their behavior is like this.

苔だらけになるのではないかと心配していた西洋マリモも大丈夫。といっても，育ってもいない。

Lake ball that I was worrying that it might be covered by the other algae is OK.  Said that no apparent growth, either.

水面は葉っぱに覆われてしまっている。

年末最後の多肉

大晦日に近くの園芸店，三貴フラワーセンターに行ってみた。1430到着で，今日は1500に閉店と知り大急ぎ。

でも，色々掘り出し物見つけた。

On the last day of 2013, I went to a gardening shop, Miki flower center, near my home.  I arrived there at 1430, and knew that the shop will close at 1500, and hurried up.  

However, I discovered a lot of lucky fonds.

帝玉はなんと200円。固まる砂でコーヒーカップに植えられていたので，植え替えることにした。抜いてみると，太い根一本のみという状態。育つと良いが。
Pleiospilos nelii. This was also sold very cheap. When I pulled it out from pot, I found there were only one large root with this. I hope this will survive.

ハオルチア万象。これは250円。
This was one of my new years eve shopping.　Haworthia maughanii

これはなんだか判らない。セダムの一種か。

Please, id somebody.

 ハオルチア水車。この色は，寒さのせいなのか，枯れかけなのか・・・触ると硬いので生きているようだが。これも250円
Haworthia limifolia var. ubomboensis. I wonder this color is because of season or bad condition.

姫明鏡。ずっと欲しかったのだが，高いのばかりだったので，今日まで買わずじまい。これは780円でちょっと奮発

This Aeonium tabuliforme var. minima I longed for several years.

これなんか，一つ80円ですよ。センペルはもう沢山と思っていたが，つい値段につられてしまった。

These were sold at less than a dollar each.

ユーホルビア瑠璃晃。蕾が沢山なので買ってしまったが，花はなんと小さい!

Euphorbia susannae. Having many buds, and flowers.

これはその日に買ったものではないのです。このカップを娘がくれたので，穴を開けて，新芽と貝殻で飾ってみた。
Our daughter gave me this tiny cup. I heard the cup had a pudding she had eaten. I drilled a hole and put some babies.
