作った, Renovating the pond

一日かかって古い池から改善。
メダカ(4匹)を捕獲し，カワニナは少々拾ってキープ
水とヘドロを汲み出して，ブルーシートを剥がす。
驚いたのは，ブルーシートは全く傷んでいなかったこと。ライナーじゃなくても良かったか・・・
穴を広げる。色々な根があって，これを切るのが結構大変。
アンダーライナー，プールライナーと敷き，岩で飾って，まあこんなもんか。
ライナーはたくさん買いすぎたので，2重に使った。
反省点
材料見積もりが甘く，ライナーは2重に使ったのに，半分以上余ってしまった。
2枚買って，一枚まるごと以上余り。

アンダーライナーは少なめに買ったので誤差の範囲。

家族には内緒で物置に仕舞った。

要反省。
It took one day to renovate the pond.
First I secured four killies and several snails.
Then, scooped water and sludge, and took out the blue tarp.  Surprisingly the tarp was not damaged at all.  May be I had not needed to replace the tarp from the beginning. :-(
Expand pond size by digging, and cutting roots of trees turning out to be harder than I imagined.
I laid under-liner and liner, and decorated by the rocks.  Mmm, it looks OK. Huh?
Since I bought too much liner, I double layered it.
Lessons learned:
My estimate about the amount of material necessary was too course.  Even though I double layered the liner, I only used about the half of I bought.

周りはヘドロで痛々しく汚れた
Water is still muddy because of mud to plant lotus.
Surrounding was contaminated by sludge.
I hope time will solve these.

After a couple of weeks, water became clean.

You can see shallow area with brown round stones for birds to bath.

ライナーを注文

今の池を少々大きく，深くする程度に決心して，
ライナーとアンダーライナーを注文。
池の周囲(水面下)に並べる丸石を連休初期に買ってこないといけないな。
底にも石を敷くかどうかこれは未だ検討中。

ブルーシートを敷いて，周りを石で隠しただけ
It was in 1998, I just dug a hole, covered the bottom with a blue tarp and decorated by stones.

食虫植物が入っていた鉢の水苔だけが爆発増殖した
Sphagnum grew, and frogs came, but could be better.

も少しデコラティブにしたい

池

池をきれいにしたい。

元々，一時的のつもりでブルーシートで防水しただけの池だから，甚だ見栄えが良くない。
10年以上もそのまま使えてしまっているので，睡蓮，水苔，ガマガエル等が住み着いている。
小鳥も水浴びに来る。
これらを驚かさないようにきれいに更新したい。

ヘドロ対策: 排水路の有無，浄化器の有無
水苔，小鳥のために浅瀬は必須
場所は今のままか?
